Barry E. Ahr, CFP®, CPA®, AIF®
Barry, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, has been involved in the financial services industry since 1982. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), and has received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
Barry is a member of several industry-related organizations, including the American Institute of CPAs, the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council. Maintaining these professional designations requires a commitment to continuing education. This allows Barry to remain current and open to new planning strategies, investment options, and changes in the income and estate tax laws.
As one of several financial advisors affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network® in the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky area, Barry receives extensive training from leading national experts in retirement and distribution planning, as well as investment management.
Barry and his wife, Pat, live in Loveland with their dog, Zeus. They enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, and skiing. Both of them are actively involved in their church, assisting with adult ministries. Barry is the chairman of the church endowment investment committee. Their four adult children live throughout the country, from Cincinnati to Oregon.
